Facials & maintenance · Fairfax, VA
Facials & chemical peels
From a short glow visit to targeted care for dehydration or congestion, facials focus on cleansing, hydration and maintenance. Chemical peels use selected acids to exfoliate and require their own screening and aftercare.
Who it may suit
A treatment for your concern.
Not everyone’s concern.
Patients seeking routine care, event preparation, congestion support or a gentler starting point. Teen visits include skin-care education; inflamed acne or persistent rosacea may also need medical treatment.
Where it may be used
Face; back, neck and décolletage where appropriate.

Understand the treatment
What happens
beneath the surface?
Cleansing and exfoliation address the surface, while moisturizers support hydration. Peels create controlled exfoliation; they are not interchangeable with a basic facial.
A different pathway
Assessment comes before a device choice.
- 01 Review your goals and medical history
- 02 Confirm the treatment and its suitability
- 03 Monitor response and plan follow-up
No unverified device depth or mechanism is assigned to this treatment.
The practical details
What to expect.
- Downtime
- Basic facials usually have little downtime; peels may cause days of flaking.
- Comfort
- Facials are usually relaxing; extractions and peels may sting.
- Results show
- Hydration may be noticeable quickly; congestion and pigment take longer.
- How long it lasts
- Temporary refresh; regular skin care supports maintenance.
- 01
Choose: discuss sensitivity, current products and upcoming events.
- 02
Customize: select suitable exfoliation, mask and hydration steps.
- 03
Maintain: follow an SPF and home-care routine appropriate to your skin.
Honest expectations
What it cannot promise.
A facial cannot reproduce a laser, injectable or surgical result. A collagen mask does not replace lost deep facial volume.
